Overview

Shillong is a hill station in northeast India and capital of the state of Meghalaya. It’s known for the manicured gardens at Lady Hydari Park. Nearby, Ward’s Lake is surrounded by walking trails. North, the Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures features displays on the region’s native people. Waterfalls include the Elephant Falls to the southwest. East of here, forested Shillong Peak offers city views.

Itinerary

Meet and greet on arrival. Check in hotel. After refreshment if time permits evening enjoy Sunset Cruise at Mighty River Brahmaputra (on direct payment basis). Night stay, in Guwahati.

Today after breakfast visit Maa Kamakhya Temple & Umanda. Later visit Sankar Dev Kalakhetra, Basistha Ashram. Evening you can walk around Dighali Pukhuri & War Memorial. Night stay, in Guwahati.

Today after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Shillong (Meghalaya). Enroute visit Umiam Lake. Later visit Wards Lake, Lady Hyderi Park, Don Bosco Museum & Shillong Cathedral. Evening you can go for shopping in famous Police Bazar / free for leisure. Night stay, in Shillong

Today after breakfast visit Elephant Falls. Later drive to visit Mawlynnong village (Awarded as Asia's Cleanest Village) and Dawki - Indo - Bangla Border. You can also visit Single Decker Root Bridge in Riwai Village and Balancing Rock in Mawlynnong. On the way to Dawki you can enjoy boating (on direct payment basis) in Umangkt River (known as Tamabeel in Bangladesh). Later drive back to Shillong & night stay, in Shillong.

Today after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee for a day trip. En route visit Shillong Peak & Mawkdok Dympep Valley. Later visit Thankaranga Park, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park in Cherrapunjee. Evening drive back to Shillong & night stay, in Shillong.

Today after breakfast check out & and drive to Guwahati Airport/Railway Station for your onward destination.

    5) Any portage at airports and hotels, tips, insurance, wine, mineral water, telephone charges, and all items of personal nature.
    6) Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail and flight delays, roadblocks, vehicle malfunctions, strikes, political disturbances or Bandhs etc.
    7) Any services not specifically mentioned in the inclusions.

    VEHICLES POLICY:

    1) The vehicle used will not be at disposal and will be exclusively used for the group as per the itinerary only (on point-to-point basis).
    2) Vehicle with AC will depend upon availability/ Usage of AC as per weather.
    3) Your luggage is your own responsibility. Take care of your baggage during the Tour.
    4) Overhead carrier in not allowed as per Supreme Court order.
